Parents are welcome to visit their child at any time during the day and also
to become involved with the Committee of Management of the centre of their
choice.
Staff communication with parents is encouraged so that family values are
respected and partnerships formed thus assisting seamless transition of a happy
child from centre to home
- Family Friendly Environment
To ensure the safety and well being of the children in our care, most of the
centres are located off main roads and close to public transport. The layout and
maintenance of the buildings, furniture, outdoor areas and play equipment are
kept to stringent industry standards, and are designed to reflect a welcoming,
homely atmosphere.
Each community based child care centre has clear policies and guidelines
which are reviewed, updated and shared with parents. These cover such issues as
health, anti-bias, behaviour management and centre philosophy.
As in your own home, particular attention is given to the provision of well
balanced, nutritious diets, with an emphasis on fresh food, avoiding additives
wherever possible. Special diets are catered for.
Children from all cultures are welcomed and traditions respected; and
children with special needs are integrated successfully into everyday life in
community based child care centres.
The very best interest of the children in our care, are foremost – South
